Czech Pharmaceutical Export in 2009

Czech pharmaceutical market is one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe; however domestic production and export are presented mainly with GX drugs, while branded (original) drugs are being imported. In addition to GX export there is small parallel export of branded drugs from Czech Republic. GX export is presented mainly with direct export (done with drug producers) and export with authorized distributors – but sometimes unauthorized distributors export GX without producers’ permission.
